4 years old!

Shatner turned 4 on June 12, 2011! This year he got the best gift ever--Toilet Paper!!!

got a puppy

This March Shatner got a little brother. Benny is a puppymill stud who was rescued by save a bull MN and adopted by us due to an email sent by one of his foster mom's my friend and former co-worker Becca. It was a rocky start, Shatner is still not exactly thrilled to share his house with another beast, but they are playing together now and Shatner has started to play with his toys again even though they smell like dog. Benny has changed quite a bit from the super shy dog he was when he came to us. He picked up walking on a leash extremely fast, although he definitely has some quirks, like only being willing to walk around our block with 2 or more people while walking the neighboring block is fine with 1, he heals like a champ--he does not know what the command means though. Benny's favorite thing ever is fetching in our house and when we come home. He is super sweet even though he would rather not be touched. All in all after 3.5 years in a cage he is doing really well here. These boys are so awesome to have in my life!
